Mm..this tastes oh so sweet on my technophile tastebuds..I'll be installing a myriad of bad-ass games...(yes, Alexus, Second Life among the first,) so be forewarned my blogging may fall by the wayside. Don't be concerned, unless 4 days have passed. Under those circumstances I've probably died of dehydration due to lack of interest of leaving my new war machine...
Oh, and I sold Nancy.
That needed it's own. Yes, I sold my pride and joy after 4 long years of grease, bloody knuckles and tears. Quite frankly, I couldn't be happier with how things turned out.
After wasting time with a lot of shit-kickers, a strapping young lad from up North agreed to buy her. He never drove her, never asked a lot of questions, never even sat inside..he was driven down by his girlfriend. The look on his face, though, drew me in: I was watching my past self, look at that car. He grew a permenant smile the more I talked about the car...I thought he was going to pass out when the deal was done. He was ecstatic as he told me of all his plans for Porsche...about how he has a body-work specialist friend to help paint it...about his big plans to drive it across the country to visit relatives..
My parting words to the new owner were simply, 'you're going to have a lot of fun with this car, man.'
